Kinda lol that the method for which people profit from PvP was pushed out before the updates that enable the players to play better and... generate points. Heh.

Cool looks to the new XTH, and I might care if I spent more than five minutes in it picking predictions.

boo, no skill balances. boo, previous assumptions on the skill balance.

A good, if modest, update.

However, I'm a bit unnerved by the Xunlai House change. It seems like an open invitation to phishers. Also, it's not like NCSoft has a good record on keeping their website free of vulnerabilities. And, even if the NCSoft site is secure, SSL itself is still broken...

Maybe I'll finally try it but I still think it will be a faction burn for me (and with wrong guesses).

I guess the folks that run the XTH figure that Support, is getting too lazy nowadays. Get ready for the flood of stolen accounts.

This did make my stomach turn a little bit when I saw the change. I felt much better having a second kind of login, but maybe we'll see eventually whether storms of lost player accounts show up from stuff like this.

The security of the XTH was also my main concern after seeing this update. Lets hope they're right when they say it is as secure as logging into the game.

Otherwise, sensible fixes really. Specially about being able to select which ZQuest you turn in when you have several completed.

Gotta love Anet's solution...hmm we can't figure how to stop people from rerolling to abuse this so lets just pretend thats how we were always going to do it! /rude

I love how this screws pve players even more. Why doesn't Anet just make ALL these zcoin farms repeatable for all the types?

Yeah ^ I agree why can't I just do Consulate Docks over n over again in HM for the same amount of zcoins? Once again PVP screws us over. All my PVE characters have Consulate Docks open, but, I don't have everything open to every one of them in all the chapters and EOTN so I can only do 1 most of the time with my main who is the only one to have done everything.

Not sure if anyone else has realised this yet....the list you can choose from is now in strict order of QP's, at least for 1v1.

No more random grabbing of 8 from the 1st page anymore. In case you didn't realise, the first page used to be the top 10 (or however many) placings in the last tournament, meaning a random selection offered a reasonable chance of good points.

I refuse to be baited on the zcoins issue, since that's a total clusterf***.

GG Anet, as usual...

Security concerns aside, I welcome the change. Having 3 logins for different things was inconvenient at best, irritating when having to contact support at worst. Here's hoping there's not a flood of stolen accounts.

Qualifier Points

From Guild Wars Wiki

High finishing guilds and players earn monthly qualifier points ("QP") in tournaments. The number of monthly QP awarded in these daily tournaments is as follows:

Tournament Result QP Awarded Daily Tourney
1st 8
2nd 7
3th 6
4th 5
5th 4
6th 3
7th 2

At the end of each season, guilds that have earned 20 QP will earn invitations to compete in the monthly championship tournament.
